Alphabe-Thursday N is for Note from my mum

Dear Mrs Matlock, I am afraid I had to keep Jay from class today. I know that her education is important but I needed her more than you did.
Kind regards
Mrs Dubblah

  2. Now that's a crafty one - I think you've been naughty and forged your Mummy's signature, haven't you???

  3. I hope Mrs. Matlock checks the handwriting. This note sounds like one you wrote.

  9. Dear Mrs. Dubblah,

First of all I want to compliment you on the lovely, intelligent, compassionate and sweet daughter you raised. She is very nifty and neat.

Please tell Jay, she is excused.

Oh, and also let her know she will need to bring a notarized copy of this excuse to class next week.

I was born at night, you know.

    But it wasn't last night!

    ha!

    Cute post!

    A+ for creativity.

  10. As a retired headteacher, I only wish my parents had taken the time to write such a letter. Their excuses were not as relevant as yours but did include- I was having a washing machine delivered, it was his grandad's birthday & I thought as it was nice the sun would do him good!
    Thanks for making me smile!

  11. My Dad once sent one for my brother saying he had 'Allblackitis' - he'd taken him to the Rugby at Twickenham!

  12. Very clever. You made me laugh. I only did forgery on report cards.

  13. Ah, a fellow note forgerer. My dad taught me to sign his name when I was in 6th grade. Still can do it well enough that the bank wouldn't know the difference.
