I bought a new photo manipulation programme a while ago. It has some amazing features including what they call "Reflection" effects. One of those is called Kaleidoscope and I can't stop playing with it.
It turned this
into this
I didn't find the letter K very easy. I could have talked about the knife I used to cut the onions yesterday and how it cut my finger instead. I could have talked about my kinfolk, about not having any kids, about Kierkegaard or Khachaturian, but I want to go back and play with my photos some more.
See what other people thought of for the letter K HERE
K was admittedly slim pickens, wasn't it? I actually read the entire K section of the dictionary....for my weekly tribute to Rush...and I'm not Kidding.
ReplyDeleteI love the Kaleidoscopic treatments! I wouldn't be able to stop playing with it either!!
Beautiful and I think Kaleidoscope was the perfect word to use for the letter K :O)
ReplyDeleteThose photo's look amazing. I could see you wanting to sit and play with it. I wonder what it would do to a person's face? Freaky LOL

ReplyDeleteOh my. That is lovely. I will not ask what the name of the program is since I barely have time to get everything done in a day already.
ReplyDeleteBut the photos are magnificent! I wonder what it would do it you simply put the letter "K" in the middle of page?
Thank you for a lovely K post!
A+
Kaleidoscopes are so much fun and I've seen some spectacular ones. Your photo program is wonderful. I haven't used my Adobe Photoshop Elements to its fullest extent, though, so I can't see buying anything else, especially since losing my forensic nursing job of 21 years in San Francisco's massive budget cuts over a year ago....I'll enjoy your creations, though.
ReplyDeleteI love the flower pics turned kaleidoscopes...very beautiful...what program is it?
ReplyDeletei love your topic! very original, i adore kaleidoscopes!
ReplyDeletethis looks like it would be a fun toy to play around with! Your flower kaleidoscope images are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you played with your photos. That function makes truly beautiful (amazing) pictures. And a great word. I always loved kaleidoscopes as a child and haven't thought of them in a lOng time.
ReplyDeleteI love how that application looks on the photos. Very cool! Enjoyed your post!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat program. It's probably good I don't have it myself, because like Jenny said, I'd be playing with it way too much! I love the layout of you blog, it's lovely. Reminds me of my lavender stress-relief lotion ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love kaleidoscopes, your flower pics are amazing.
ReplyDeleteOooh, I have some photos I should turn into kaleidoscopes like this! Yours look really neat =)
ReplyDeleteAwesome makeover of already beautiful pictures. I'll be one to ask what the program is, too. You and I both are smitten with kaleidoscopes for our 'k' Alphabe assignment.
ReplyDeleteWonderful 'K' post (love yr 'Jacques Brel one too ~ one of my favourite French singers).
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter & look forward to *seeing* you again!
btw yr lovely blog header mentions calm in a frazzled world!! So I was wondering what you might make of my current post Is it ever OK to swear at work?
XOXO LOLA:)
What a great effect! The flower photos by themselves are lovely, but the photo manipulation is really stunning. Oh boy, I could waste days playing with this! Great choice for K. Kathy
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty amazing.
